       Welcome to APSEC 2018

Welcome to the 10th Asia Pacific Structural Engineering and Construction Conference (APSEC) 2018

History of APSEC

APSEC 2018 Asia Pacific Structural Engineering & Construction Conference,
is an international conference focusing on topics related to engineering and construction. The 1st APSEC conference was held in 1989 in the historical city of Malacca. Since then the conference was held regularly at every three years and had attracted many researchers, academicians and engineers from local and abroad. Previous 8th APSEC 2012 was jointly organised with Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Indonesia and was held at Mercure Hotel, Surabaya, Indonesia.  And the latest, APSEC 2015 was conducted in Menara Razak, UTM Kuala Lumpur, jointly with ACEC (ASEAN Civil Engineering Conference) 2015.

About APSEC 2018

APSEC 2018, aims to provide platform for exchanging ideas on latest advances in research and innovations, as well as state-of-the-art information in the fields of structural engineering and construction between scientists and engineers from both the academia, government and industries.

The theme
“Sustaining the world with better structures
and construction practice”

expresses a wide range of issues
to be discussed in the conference.

This conference will be organised by the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Malaysia. The Organising Committee invites you to present paper(s) and/or participate in the Technical Sessions. The success and achievement gained in the previous APSEC conferences have been remarkable and we are confident that this APSEC 2018 will bring significant benefits to the participants. Engineers, architects, quantity surveyors, researchers, academics, research students, contractors and developers are invited to attend this conference.
