Power Engineering Research Group (PERG)
The idea of the establishment of Power Engineering Research Group also known as PERG was initiated by the Department of Power, Faculty of Electrical Engineering. The main purpose of the establishment of PERG is to have a proper organization to handle Research & Development (R&D) activities for the Department of Power.
With the establishment of PERG, the role of Department of Power can be focus on to provide quality teaching service to the students. While, PERG accommodates all the academicians, researchers and industry affiliates under one roof for R&D activities.
The establishment of PERG also inline with the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia’s ambition to brand itself as an Innovative University.
